In general, I work remotely and have optimized my process accordingly. We discuss important milestones via video calls (Google Meet, Zoom), and I provide a general project overview and work progress in a Notion dashboard that can be viewed at any time. Collaboration regarding design and content is done via Figma to enable fast iterations. If, despite all the technical possibilities, an on-site visit is necessary, we can also arrange this by appointment.
Structure and planning are the absolute basis not only for web projects. Until the start of a new project it usually takes a week from the first request to the offer. However, I am usually fully booked for the next 2-4 weeks. So the sooner you write me, the sooner we can start. So don't wait...
While there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as it depends on various factors such as scope, presence of a style guide, or client cooperation, the average length of a website project is 1-3 months.
In the first step, I want to understand what the scope (extent) of the project is and whether I can help you. Based on this, I can usually give a rough price range in the first conversation.
Generally, I do not charge by the hour, but put together a package that covers all of your requirements. You can then check for yourself whether it fits into your budget. This way there are no hidden costs and you know what you get for your money. Factors in the calculation are the scope (pages), design, content creation and the number of tool integrations.
I create websites mainly with Webflow, because from my point of view it is superior to WordPress in many aspects. Webflow's CMS comes with hosting (cost savings), automatic updates for dependencies (security aspect), a CDN to deliver all media assets (performance), is highly customizable from a design perspective (individuality), extremely user-friendly and most importantly, not overloaded with plugins.
